Spirit Fires Limited was started on 1-June-2007 by Andrew Munro (MD) and Christine McLoughlin (FD). The Company is based in the North East of England on the outskirts of Darlington (J59/A1).

We design and manufacture our own range of products using our CE approved gas burner technology.

Our aim is to grow the Spirit Fires brand across Europe, supplying our clients with high quality designer flueless gas fires and flueless fireplaces using our unique gas fire burner technology - all hand made here in the UK.

Our Newton Aycliffe factory is central to our business where all of our fires are assembled using locally sourced materials. Sales is direct, via a network of exclusive uk retailers and european export partners. Spirit Fires have been supplied to many businesses and homes across Europe.

The Company is now coming up to 4 years old and sales have grown year on year since 2007.

Unlike a number of Copmpanies within the fireplace industry, Spirit Fires Ltd is now in a very strong financial position to expand further with additional manufacturing capacity and and we are planning to expand our range further with new flueless gas fire technology which is currently in development with our R&D team.

In July-2010 we opened our second showroom in the South.

• June-2007 - Spirit Fires Limited started trading.
• July-2007 - SPIRIT - flueless gas fire is CE approved and launched into the market.
• October-2007 - AZAR - Flueless Fire - flueless gas fire is CE approved and launched into the the market.
• December-2007 - Spirit Fires designs the flame bar at the new designer Tup Tup Palace night club in Newcastle.
• March-2008 - The Spirit flueless fire is CE approved with a unique deflector gather unit.
• June-2008 - SPIRIT WIDESCREEN - Featured on C4 TV program "Grand Designs".
• April-2008 - Spirit Fires is featured on the C4 program "the Home Show" with Architect George Clarke.
• Feb 2009 - Spirit Fires flueless fire design is nominated for award at Grand Designs Live 2010.
• March-2009 - Spirit Fires launches the brand in Germany with the opening of a Munich Showroom.
• June-2010 - Spirit Fires exhibit at the Home and Hearth Exhibition in Harrogate.
• July-2010 - Spirit Fires open new FIREVAULT showroom in the south of the UK near Reading
